Guatemala
Last year, before entering University, I decided to travel in Central America in order to learn spanish and pass my Spanish entrance test for my Bachelor's Degree. I went to study to a school named Tecun Uman. I had a total of 80 hours with private teacher which helped me to acquire that much knowledge in few weeks. I recommand this school to everyone that wishes ameliorate his Spanish while being in a wonderful environment.http://www.tecunuman.centramerica.com/main.htm
I traveled a bit around the country to see Volcan Pacaya, Monte-Rico on the west side and Tikal on North. I lived in Guatemala for about 1 month but I have had the opportunity to learn a lot about the culture. What I remember the most was when I went to help children in a small humanitarian project named Mi Angel Guardian. We had to support them with their homeworks and playing with them. As a future teacher that is the very first experience I had and it really told me that this is what I wanted to do for my carreer. Here is a video to help you have a better perspective.
